Inside the KSH 1.2bn Statehouse Church
You look at China and might think maybe a KSH 1.2bn church is in their presidential palace. That's why they lend us grants and loans. Not forgetting to admire their higher education system.
You might think it's the absence of God that led to African leaders being western puppets, who hand over our resources to earn and retain power.
China, which is a highly Buddhist society, has emerged as an economic powerhouse by even building roads and railways in many countries, not forgetting lending money.
You might argue that the absence of a higher standard of the so-called church has really failed this country in helping children with no classes get classes. And most importantly, that it's the reason extra judicial killings have been happening hence when built it will stop.
Africans have had a tendency to worship religion such that their leaders use it to emotionally manipulate their citizens.
They know that religion is the only institution that justifies poverty and terms wealth as worldly things as their leaders get filthy rich from their ignorance.
They know that when it comes to fear of the unknown, people really don't want to question it because they'll end up locked behind the gates of paradise called heaven.
Not knowing the same religion, they fear questioning which has the 10 commandments, where one part says do not kill, not only justifies killings of a state through different biblical stories of the Israel Kings but also its use to control them from seeing what is black and white.
When I say what is black or white, I mean in a critical thinking capacity; What does Article 8 of the Constitution say? "There shall not be a state religion". Why is it quoted that way? Because Kenya respects all religions by giving freedom to practice any religion in the land, it means Kenya is a SECULAR STATE.
And the presidency, being a symbol of UNITY, has no mandate to build a permanent religious building inside a statehouse on public land. And I say public land, that must be taken seriously because the constitution of Kenya starts with the word, WE THE PEOPLE, which means anything that belongs to the public will directly or indirectly need public participation.
The 4 former presidents weren't that stupid to use temporary sanctuaries to worship? They knew that in the future, one day there would be a president from either religious divide, and it would be easier to demolish it and establish their own temporary sanctuaries. You can't all of a sudden be right and all be wrong in a secular state!
Nonetheless, why would a religious building be so important when there are many boardrooms to turn into a church inside the statehouse?
In a logical context, that 1.2bn is irrespective of being personal money, and you want to change a society in need so that God can bless you as the belief says. Why not build an important aspect of life, such as boreholes, schools, hospitals, sewage systems, industries for TVET, and provide college graduates with employment?
Only through changing lives can you cement a long-lasting solution more than an illusion of having a permanent religious building on public land, with raging voices outside the statehouse, having to handle the fact that connection is their ultimate solution to get employed.
The establishment knows that having a hungry society with a strong religious sense is submissive to all nuisances of bad leadership, knowing that it's god's punishment and they have nothing to do but repent and prepare for the coming of the messiah. While the same God chosen leaders continue to swindle money, enriching themselves.
What is the in-depth analysis of the construction of the church? Is it to use the tenders that a construction company gets as the leeway to launder money? Because what will it be in a mafia-led type of country? Such allegations have been happening in the so-called church harambees. Where stolen proceeds of corruption lead to the pulpit of a church to be sanctified as giving back to the lord.
Or is it a message being sent that I am here to stay, and the election will not deter me from building my own dynasty through manipulation of religion to get an endorsement from the public that it's right? Yet, the goal is to build a Joseph Stalin-type personality cult, not forgetting the Kim dynasty?
Irrespective of all this paradigm shift in thoughts, of all the importance, is that the establishment is for the moral authority, while the slave authority complains and fights for a non-lasting illusionary belief with a non-lasting solution.
But in this context. Article 8 of Kenya's constitution is the ultimate solution.
